National Underwriter Informal Poll On Consumer LTC Knowledge
Nationalunderwriter.com conducted an informal poll with readers of their newsletter and website. This poll asked the following question: In general, consumers are more informed about long term care insurance (LTC) than they were five years ago?
The results of the poll were:
45% - Agree somewhat
28% - Agree
12% - It’s about the same
7% - Disagree
5% - Disagree Somewhat
I am not too surprised most people think consumers are more informed today than five years ago about LTC. Because our population is turning older and the Baby Boomers have now reached 60. LTC is no longer something to think about later. The time has arrived, and the products have become more consumer friendly.
